Toby Tenenbaum is an award-winning, New York Times-published freelance photographer whose work has been featured in prominent publications including Rolling Stone, NME, Entertainment Weekly and Billboard.

Over the past 20 years while honing his craft he has  established his reputation as one of New York City's most prolific live music photographers. Toby also enjoys the expansive realm of travel photography to counterbalance his passion for capturing the intimacy of live performance. 

A distinguished veteran of the NYC live music scene, Toby has been a frequent contributor to the independent site, BrooklynVegan since 2008. Toby has covered live music festivals, performances and special events as well as a number of newsworthy moments as they have unfolded in his backyard. 

Toby's travel assignments and photo essays have taken him from his native London to the glaciers of Patagonia, through the bustling metropolis of Hong Kong, to remote parts of rural Iceland, Zimbabwe, Cote D'Ivoire and cosmopolitan Berlin. Toby's fascination with the US National Parks continually challenges him to capture America from a unique perspective.
